The Salt Lake City Streets Division is seeking a Construction Operations Manager responsible for maintenance and repairs on critical City infrastructure, including asphalt maintenance; annual snow and ice removal; and curb, gutter, and ADA corner concrete replacement. This position serves as a senior management member responsible for working with management to establish strategic plans, policies, goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven successful experience in the realms of human resource management, strategic planning, financial management, and operations. This position will prepare and manage a $5 million budget. The position is responsible for close coordination with other City departments, policy makers, the public, and external agencies. The ideal candidate will need to perform at a high level, making independent decisions in the City’s best interest. This position will play a critical role in maintaining City infrastructure and must assume significant responsibility for the accountable, efficient, and effective expenditure of tax dollars.
