The Human Resources Department is expanding! We are looking for an Employee Benefits Supervisor to supervisor and support the day to day activities of employees in the Human Resources Benefits Division. This position is responsible for administering the City's Employee Benefits Programs for active employees and their eligible family members or other programs as assigned. These programs include multiple self-insured and fully insured health, welfare, and voluntary benefit programs.
Programs may include, but are not limited to the following:
Health Care Programs - Medical, Behavioral Health, Prescription Drug, Dental, Vision Care, Employee Assistance, Health and Flex Spend Accounts, Post-Employment Health Reimbursement Accounts, and Wellness programs.
Welfare Benefit Programs - Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Commuter programs, Short Term Disability Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and other administration related duties.
Voluntary Benefit Programs - Vison Care (VSP), Hyatt Legal, Accident Insurance (MetLife), Critical Illness (MetLife), Hospital Indemnity (MetLife), Auto and Home Insurance (MetLife, Liberty Mutual/Travelers), Discount Shopping, Financial Wellness (OwnX), Identity Theft Protection (LifeLock), Pet Insurance (VPI), Short-Term Loans (Kashable), and Hearing Care (Hearing Care Solutions).
