  Under general direction of the Director of Housing Stability, The Community Development Grant Supervisor; supervises and directs programs and staff activities associated with the Salt Lake City’s Funding Our Future programs, and the US Department of  Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Grant (HOPWA) program. Incumbent will administer programs in addition to overseeing and directing grant administration staff to ensure compliance with federal regulations, city ordinances, city processes, city plans, best practices, and other community efforts. Tasks may include but are not limited to: determination of project and program eligibility; evaluation and selection criteria; all related grant processes; preparation of annual reports; regulatory determination and oversight, regulatory compliance monitoring; and implementation of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan and Citizen Participation Plan. This is a professional position which requires the ability to understand and analyze complex data and present the information to citizens, sub grantees, and interested parties.  Advises and negotiates with all parties to ensure they understand and comply with program parameters to meet the goals of the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan, City Initiatives, and associated implementation efforts. This position participates in the strategic planning, budget analysis, and policy formation for work under the prevue  of Housing Stability, which includes federal grant administration and local sales tax revenue funded housing programs.
